Kathy is the Co-Founder and Executive Director. Under her leadership, DANI has grown into an organization that has three locations and seven social enterprise businesses. DANI serves hundreds of neurodiverse adults in the GTA and reaches hundreds more across Ontario.
Tal supervises operations at the new Magnetic Campus. He works closely with management, staff and caregivers, to optimize the service we provide to participants. Tal is also part of the ground-breaking Virtual Inclusive Learning Academy (VILA) team, helping to create the first online learning academy for people with disabilities. He is also the leader of our DANI Housing Initiative.
Jordan has a leadership role in all aspects of DANI’s programming, including day, social and recreational programs, vocational training and virtual learning. Jordan’s commitment to professional development enables high quality programming.
Anita manages Dani Delights, the restaurant and catering arm of our social enterprise. She works with our professional kitchen staff to create delicious fresh food for the café and our catering business, as well as for events hosted at our event venue.
Ashleigh oversees the day program at the Clark campus. She supports the staff and facilitates college and university placements. Ashleigh is the director of DANI's annual “must see” theatre production, where she encourages our participants to shine on stage.
Tammy oversees the day program at our second location as well as the Supported Employment Program (SEP). Her strengths-based, person-centered approach ensures the success of the programs by assessing, evaluating and implementing plans to support the needs of families, participants and staff.
Anna spearheads DANI’s innovative online learning platform, Virtual Inclusive Learning Academy (VILA). It provides vulnerable adults across the province with access to vocational training, literacy and life skills. Anna’s understanding of the needs of learners, coupled with her passion for teaching, ensures that VILA provides an unparalleled learning experience.
Hunter creates and implements programs for the adults at DANI. He is also involved in spearheading the drama department and uses a person-centred approach to help participants thrive.
Ilana brings a caring and fun-loving approach to assist the adults in developing skills. She works with participants and their families to set specific goals and helps to accomplish them.
Rachel develops, implements, and oversees various functional literacy activities, while integrating these skills as a natural part of our daily lives. Rachel has also given voice to participants through our biweekly DANI Days newsletter, which connects us to the community.
Roy instructs our art, music and dance programs. He assists in production of the annual play as well as general studies. Roy infuses humour and creativity into his work.
Leandro implements creative programming using Lego to help explore the creative side of participants imaginations. With a background in community management Leandro has expertise in setting up and managing engaging activities for participants.
Moshe strives to make connections with each participant at DANI. He takes a tailored multimodal approach to working with each of our participants which considers the entire adult. Moshe enjoys giving participants an opportunity to express themselves.
Lisa brings innovative and engaging programs to DANI. She uses board games to facilitate learning and develops creative and much-loved recreational activities, including laughter therapy and drumfit classes.
Heally brings an enthusiastic and cheerful approach to DANI. She supports DANI participants with gaining independence and reaching their personal goals, through the facilitation of interactive and creative dance classes and other programs.
Izzy uses a spiritual approach when preparing and delivering classes. His intention is to help participants grow and meet goals, while infusing positivity and excitement into general studies and the Judaica curriculum. Outside of his regular duties, Izzy is also DANI's inhouse IT specialist.
Neima brings her Judaic knowledge to DANI and organizes programs encompassing holidays and other Jewish themes. Neima uses an inventive mix of teaching methods, customized to suit each individual’s needs. She also actively contributes to general programs.
Marina coordinates a variety of programs at Dani, with the focus on enhancing participants’ life skills. Marina incorporates person centered approach to her programs, developing teaching strategies that encompass all level of abilities. Marina strives to provide positive and nurturing environment for participants to thrive in.
Sydney enjoys working with the DANI population as each person has their own unique strengths which makes her days exciting. Sydney facilitates outdoor recreation programming and fitness classes from a therapeutic recreation background. She engages participants using a strength-based, person-centred approach.
Dionne's corporate background combined with her organizational skills help maintain the daily running of our second location. As the Office Manager she is involved in a variety of administrative duties and provides staff support.
